Who’s the girl behind the camera?
I’m Sylvie, a camera obsessed, in love with life & real love stories, peppermint tea drinking wedding & family photographer. Firstly, you choose your photographer for the quality of their photos, but then it’s also nice to know a bit more about the person that will be part of some very special moments in your life. So here are some random facts about who I am and what I love.
I grew up in Germany and came to the UK in 2009. Originally the plan was to stay for a year or two, but I fell deeply in love with not only London but the beautiful english countryside - so I stayed a little longer. When I met my wonderful english man in London in 2013, I just knew this little island in the wild North Atlantic Ocean will be my new forever home.
We share our home with our two cheeky sibling cats Toffee & Mint. In June last year then, our Spaniel puppy Aska joined our little family (I am still working on a group photo with all three together though - work in progress I guess).
When I’m not taking photos, we love love love travelling, long walks and cosy Sunday afternoons at home in our kitchen, trying new recipes. I love listening to some good music and nipping on a warming Scotch on cold winter days. Autumn is my favourite season and I would describe myself as obsessed with everything about Christmas.
